Social Programs

Our Objective: Foster programs/activities that will bring the community together with no bias in age, gender, language, educational, cultural, ethnic or racial differences.

There are several annual, bi-monthly/quarterly, and monthly programs currently in place. Our objectives are to:

  • Establish health and fitness activities for all age groups.
  • Coordinate and support family events such as Aqiqah and Azza.
  • Organize blood drive with the local Red Cross at the masjid.
  • Develop "family friendly" activities that will involve families such as:

    - Game/quiz night
    - Bonfires
    - Campout on Masjid grounds
    - Nature walk
    - BBQs
    - Pre-Ramadan kids arts & crafts
    - Annual family picnic
    - Food fair and food competition
    - Sports: volleyball, badminton, soccer

We welcome anyone in the community who is willing to offer a helping hand with some of our tasks. We are always in search of fresh ideas!

Our monthly soup kitchen program has restarted in Rock Hill, SC, Alhamdulillah. Please reach out to Br. Rusydhi if your team would like to participate and to learn more.
